I'm interested in joining, but I'm not sure if the program is right for me?

Our program is suited for any individual who has a genuine interest in learning practical skills used in Finance. Whether you're striving to break into the industry or have a curiosity to learn more, we have a program set for your needs.

Why should I join PIF instead of any other business organizations?

Although we have many well-reputed organizations on campus, many fail to train students for rigorous careers in Finance. We are always modifying our curriculum to better suit our members for the ever-changing job landscape. In addition, we help students with their "soft skills" such as networking, email communication, and much more. 

Do I have to attend every meeting?

You do not have to attend every meeting, but you will not get the full benefit of your membership if you miss often.

What is the difference between Advanced and Fundamentals (memberships)?

There are several differences between both of our memberships. 

  • Different meeting days. Advanced members will meet on Mondays, at 6:30 pm until 9 pm and Fundamentals members meet on Tuesdays at 8 pm until 10 pm.
  • The lessons/curriculum are different for both programs. Please refer to our Curriculum page to learn more. 
  • If you are an Advanced member, you can attend both Monday and Tuesday meetings. If you are a Fundamentals member, you can only attend the Tuesday meetings. 
  • In addition, we provide more resources to our Advanced members than Fundamentals such as books, interview guides, subscription discounts, articles, and much more.


I am not majoring in Business, can I still join your club? 

YES! We encourage students from every major to join our organization.

Can I join Fundamentals first to see if I like the program, then pay the difference for an Advanced membership?

Yes you can! 

How can I join/pay?

Please refer to our Join tab in the navigation bar on our website. There will be three options for payment; Advanced, Fundamentals, and Returning. We accept all forms of payment except cash (credit cards, checks, or Venmo). 

All new members should be selecting the "Advanced" or the Fundamentals" option. Returning members should be selecting "Returning." Yes, we check :)
