2019 SPRING EXECUTIVE BOARD 

Are you a dedicated member of the Phoenician Investment Fund? Do you want to accelerate your professional growth while giving back to this organization among passionate Executive Board members? Then apply to be on the 2019 Spring Executive Board! We are excited to announce that applications are now officially open and the deadline is Tuesday, November 13th at 11:59 pm.

You will be required to submit an application which includes the submission of your resume and a 250-word essay. If you are selected, you will be notified to come on campus for an in-person interview.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Director of Global Investment Research

  • Responsible for Market Talks

  • Works with the Director of Global Capital Markets to create lessons on fundamental market concepts

  • Conduct Markets’ mock interviews

  • Mentor 2 Vice Presidents and provide guidance on monthly research reports

  • Assist with recruitment efforts

Director of Global Capital Markets

  • Works with Director of Global Investment Research to create lessons on fundamental market concepts

  • Conducts Markets’ mock interviews

  • Mentor 2 Vice Presidents and provide guidance on weekly stock pitches that are presented in meetings

  • Assist with recruitment efforts

Director of Financial Modeling

  • Fully responsible for creating modeling lessons using excel

  • Assist the Director of Investment Banking on weekly lesson

  • Conducts Investment Banking mock interviews

  • Mentor 2 Vice Presidents and provide guidance in weekly Industry Talk presentations

  • Assist with recruitment efforts

Director of Professional Development

  • Fully responsible for creating workshop presentations (e.g. resume, LinkedIn, Networking, Apply-a-thon, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Research, Interviewing, etc.)

  • Directs the mentorship program (e.g. Assigning mentors to mentees, keeping up with mentors and mentees to make sure the relationships are being kept)

  • Responsible for the organization’s finances

  • Responsible for organizing all recruitment efforts

Director of Operations

  • Facilitates all communication between members and the executive board

  • Reserve rooms for the organization’s meetings/mock interviews

  • Organizes the organization’s socials/events

  • Assists with recruitment efforts

Director of Public Relations

  • Manages social media and website content

  • Scheduling professional headshots

  • Creates all marketing materials

  • Maintains relationships with the College of Business and the University

  • Responsible for organizing recruitment efforts
